Senior Purchaser , responsible for procurement leadership on the Rhode Island Energy project. This role requires strong expertise in
materials and services procurement , as well as the ability to manage and mentor staff across multiple locations.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead procurement activities for both materials and services. Manage, mentor, and guide staff and assistant-level purchasing professionals. Travel to Northeastern offices to support procurement operations and client engagement. Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure timely procurement delivery. Build strong client relationships and represent the firm with confidence. Ensure compliance with procurement policies, safety, and quality standards. Support sourcing strategies that balance cost efficiency with project quality. Required Experience:
Proven experience in procurement across both
materials and services . Previous leadership experience managing procurement teams. Strong client-facing skills; ability to represent company effectively. Nice-to-Have Experience:
Prior experience in infrastructure or energy projects. Regional experience across Northeastern U.S. offices. Required Skills:
Procurement leadership and sourcing strategy Strong interpersonal and communication skills Travel readiness and adaptability Preferred Skills:
Vendor relationship management Energy or utility sector procurement experience Negotiation and contract management Additional Skills:
