Path to College is looking for a rare individual who possesses exceptional skills, innovative thinking, and a passion for education equity as we expand our programming. The Program Coordinator will help facilitate our outreach and mentor programs to expand minds and ignite potential. Our vision is to create a world where genius, leadership, and excellence are cultivated in the most overlooked communities. This person must have strong facilitation and communication skills; the ability to multitask while providing supervision and guidance to students and the ability to create and maintain relationships with businesses, school leaders, and community organizations. This is an impactful role that will help shape the future workforce and guide the path for thousands of young people in Palm Beach County and beyond. This is a full-time (40 hrs/wk) position. Salary range: $40,000 - $55,000 annually The Duties and Responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to: Responsibilities
Outreach Program Support Lead the implementation of the college and career outreach program. Plan and facilitate high-quality exploration/prep workshops and events, student orientations, trainings, community workshops, and quarterly career panels. Conduct assessments to align student needs and partner requirements for internship placements and college/career initiatives. Distribute internship guides, exploration toolkits, and informational materials to support student development. Cultivate relationships with businesses, organizations, and community partners to create opportunities. Support and participate in college-access community activities to maintain best practices. Maintain accurate records of placements, preferences, and partnership agreements to track, report, and evaluate effectiveness. Assist with events, communications, and fundraising as needed. Mentor Program Support Check in with mentees to boost participation and mentor engagement. Surface and resolve mentor-mentee issues; escalate when needed. Keep communication clear between mentors, mentees, and staff. Support onboarding: collect documents, track training, and maintain files. Maintain organized digital records for mentors, mentees, and matches. Create interest/goal-based profile cards to inform matches. Support mentor events, trainings, and match activities. Qualifications
Required Qualifications Passion for education and college access for underserved communities Bachelor's degree At least 1 year of experience working with adolescents. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Expert computer skills including proficiency in Google Suite A valid drivers license, good driving record, and access to a reliable vehicle to attend trainings, meetings, and to facilitate community outreach workshops Flexibility to work a varied schedule including evenings and weekends as needed Pass a Level 2 background check Preferred Qualifications: Bilingual in Haitian Creole or Spanish Salesforce CRM experience Together we can help ALL the BEST students get to ALL the BEST schools.
