Job Description
Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for construction projects. Collaborate with project managers and clients to ensure project requirements are met. Analyze blueprints, specifications, and other documentation to prepare estimates. Evaluate subcontractor bids and negotiate competitive pricing. Maintain and update cost databases for accurate forecasting. Prepare reports and presentations to communicate budget and cost details. Monitor project progress and provide recommendations to control costs. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards. A successful Construction Estimator should have:
A strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and cost management. Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical documents. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to work effectively with clients and teams. Proficiency in relevant software tools, such as estimating software and Excel. What's on Offer
