Job Description
Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for construction projects. Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to ensure all project requirements are accounted for in the estimates. Review project plans, specifications, and other documents to determine scope and requirements. Analyze subcontractor and supplier bids to select the most cost-effective options. Maintain up-to-date records of costs and pricing structures for materials and labor. Support the development of budgets and schedules for project execution. Provide regular updates and reports to stakeholders on cost estimates and project progress. Identify potential cost-saving opportunities while maintaining project quality and timelines. The Successful Applicant
A successful Estimator should have:
A strong background in construction estimating and familiarity with industry practices. Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and project specifications. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Experience with estimating software and tools to enhance accuracy and efficiency. Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with project teams. A detail-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering high-quality work. What's on Offer
