Saks Global Properties & Investments includes Saks Fifth Avenue and Neiman Marcus flagship properties and represents nearly 13 million square feet of prime U.S. real estate holdings and investments in luxury markets. YOU WILL BE: The International Trade Compliance Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of incoming goods and ensuring that they comply with customs regulations by tracking and documenting shipments, advising brands, categorizing shipments by tariff coding system, and reviewing coordinating documentation for accuracy. Daily activities will include collaborating with business partners and internal stakeholders to manage the import lifecycle as well as actively assisting in various department initiatives designed to cut costs and improve efficiency. WHAT YOU WILL DO: Responsible for preparation and filing of documentation related to HTS classifications and US Customs regulations to ensure international compliance. Knowledge of U.S. HTS classifications around ready to wear, footwear and handbags. Understanding of customs requirements on import shipments to the U.S. Experience with U.S. Fish and Wildlife and CITES regulations. Review and auditing of customs and duty documentation to ensure accurate invoicing and classifications. WHAT YOU WILL BRING: Work cross-functionally between multiple groups and teams both internal to Saks Global and external suppliers/brokers. Attention to detail and ability to challenge and streamline existing processes. Adaptability in a fast-paced environment with ability to handle multiple workstreams at once. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to meet deadlines. Maintain an analytical, data-driven approach to problem solving. Actively support team projects and effectively communicate with team members. Keep an open line of communication with Logistics leadership and speak up as issues arise.
