We are seeking a tenacious and enthusiastic Hospitality Manager to help elevate our brand experiences to the next level. Our estate tasting room features an outdoor space with 360-degree views of the valley, vineyards, and mountains. We are also developing a downtown tasting room to create another unique guest experience. Position Summary: The Hospitality Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of our tasting and hospitality experiences. You will bring experience in designing tasting and membership programs and curate exceptional experiences that build long-lasting relationships with our guests while driving membership growth. You will lead the Hospitality Associate team, ensuring the highest level of service and refinement. As the lead brand ambassador, you will communicate our story and create a distinct impression of Walla Walla Vintners. While this is a management role, the winerys size requires flexibility and a willingness to wear multiple hats when needed. We aim to provide an environment that is welcoming, educational, and approachable, paired with some of the best wines in the Walla Walla Valley. Our wines are produced and bottled on-site, and estate vineyards just steps away allow guests to interact directly with our vineyards. Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Guest Experience & Operations: Manage all in-person wine tastings, experiences, and sales at the estate property. Oversee a calendar of tastings and events in coordination with the Director of DtC. Drive tasting room sales and collaborate with the DtC and Marketing Directors on promotions. Increase wine club membership by showcasing the value of long-term relationships. Communicate clearly with guests regarding scheduling, expectations, and policies. Act as a gracious gatekeeper, accommodating guest needs while maintaining standards. Collect guest contact information for future marketing and follow-ups. Ensure personalized touches, such as handwritten thank-you notes for new club members and VIPs. Maintain strict control over cash, credit card receipts, and inventory. Ensure all supplies, wines, and food are stocked and fresh for smooth daily operations and events. Maintain tasting and office spaces at the highest standards of cleanliness. Training, Education & Team Management: Mentor, coach, and train the hospitality team. Recruit, hire, and schedule staff based on seasonal volume. Provide regular performance feedback. Foster a positive, productive, and team-focused work environment. Develop comprehensive training programs and maintain SOPs for service and tastings. Establish training standards for sales technique, strategy, and wine club promotion. Collaborate with the DtC team to improve tasting room policies and procedures. Qualifications

MAST Permit and Food Manager Certification. 3+ years in fine wine hospitality or high-end restaurant, including at least 1 year in a managerial role. Proven track record designing high-end consumer experiences. Experience developing wine education programs. Strong problem-solving skills and self-starter mentality. Ability to multitask and anticipate changing priorities. Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. Meticulous organization with a focus on accurate guest records, sales, and educational information. Proficiency with POS systems, CRM platforms, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook). Ability to troubleshoot CRM, POS, and network issues as needed. Schedule & Availability

Position is full-time and operates year-round. Workdays: Thursday through Monday 8-5, including evening events. During our busy season, from first week in April through the first week of November, weekend requested time off cannot be accommodated. Physical Requirements
