Associate Engineer
Pennoni is hiring! In particular, we are looking for an experienced professional to join our team as an Associate Engineer to contribute to our multi-discipline design projects on a full-time, direct basis at our office in Cape May Court House, NJ. This person will have the opportunity to work on a variety of private and public development projects across various markets! Primary responsibilities include performing due diligence tasks to determine site development feasibility, preparing site plan development drawings, designing and detailing facility demolition, site layout, grading, utilities, profiles, etc., designing and detailing stormwater management, preparing permit applications, preparing engineering reports, direct coordination with regulatory agency staff, responses to regulatory agency comment letters, assistance with client coordination, assistance with proposal writing, and assisting with mentoring junior-level staff. Additional duties may be assigned as needed. Basic requirements include a bachelor's degree in an engineering-oriented discipline (preferably civil engineering) and 2+ years of professional experience working in engineering, preferably with land development projects. Preferred qualifications include FE/EIT, experience working on land development and/or municipal engineering projects, experience working with stormwater management, especially while utilizing hydrology and hydraulics modeling tools, proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D, and proficiency on basic office software applications, especially Microsoft Office 365. Excellent organizational skills, especially with a proven ability to work in an energetic and challenging work environment on a variety of projects; this person will be expected to demonstrate a self-motivated demeanor while effectively multi-tasking and prioritizing multiple assignments. Excellent communication skills (verbal & written). Target salary range: $70k - $85k (per year).
