Are you enthusiastic about connecting exceptional talent with exciting career opportunities? Shorr Packaging is on the lookout for a dedicated Talent Acquisition Coordinator to become part of our expanding team! This role is ideal for recent college graduates or those with 1-2 years of recruiting or HR experience seeking to enhance their skills in comprehensive recruitment, employer branding, and talent development.
As an essential member of our Talent Acquisition team, you will collaborate with hiring managers nationwide to attract and engage top-tier talent. You'll gain valuable hands-on experience in sourcing, screening, interviewing, and building a candidate pipeline, all while working alongside seasoned recruiters to advance your career in Talent Acquisition.
Your Responsibilities:
Assist with Full-Cycle Recruiting - Participate in the hiring process for various roles across Shorr's 10 U.S. divisions, from job postings and candidate sourcing to interview scheduling and offer management.
Collaborate with Hiring Managers - Partner with managers to understand their hiring needs, create engaging job descriptions, and refine the recruitment process.
Develop Talent Pipelines - Establish and nurture a network of potential candidates through strategic sourcing, networking, referrals, university relations, job fairs, and industry events.
Enhance Employer Branding - Showcase Shorr's employer brand via social media, outreach initiatives, and recruitment marketing endeavors to attract top talent.
Provide an Excellent Candidate Experience - Ensure a smooth and engaging recruitment journey by keeping candidates informed and delivering a positive interview experience.
Utilize Digital Recruiting Tools - Leverage platforms like LinkedIn, Indeed, ZoomInfo, and Jobvite to identify and connect with qualified candidates.
Represent Shorr at Hiring Events - Participate in career fairs, university relation programs, and community hiring events to forge strong talent connections.
Work in a Hybrid Environment - Collaborate with the team from our office in Aurora, IL as needed while enjoying a flexible work arrangement.

The targeted compensation for this position is between $60,000 and $75,000 base salary plus targeted bonuses, depending on the skills and experience of the selected candidate.
What You Bring:
A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications, Psychology, or a related field.
A minimum of 1 year of experience in recruiting or an HR-related role (internships or part-time roles are welcome).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to establish strong relationships with candidates and hiring teams.
A strong desire to learn, grow, and make a significant impact in the field of talent acquisition.
Familiarity with LinkedIn, Indeed, or other recruiting platforms is advantageous, but not a requirement; we will train you!
