This full-time remote position is an excellent chance to define and transform a critical product portfolio. Position Summary: This is a fantastic opportunity to set the strategic direction and enhance the commercial performance of our business. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of the claims and insurance ecosystem, operational instincts, and the ability to unite teams under a dynamic vision. Key Responsibilities: Own Strategy and Drive Growth:
Lead and expand a specialized portfolio for the workers’ compensation, disability, and auto insurance markets. Set ambitious growth targets and ensure effective execution across sales, product, partnerships, and marketing. Elevate Market Positioning:
Develop and implement branding, product, and messaging strategies that position the portfolio as a modern, distinctive solution for various market entities. Deliver Measurable Business and Client Outcomes:
Achieve financial performance goals while pursuing opportunities for market expansion, product innovation, and customer satisfaction. Foster Cross-Functional Alignment:
Collaborate with senior leadership and teams to prioritize initiatives and ensure coordinated execution across all functions. Navigate a Changing Market Landscape:
Stay informed of regulatory changes, competitive developments, and client demands to maintain a responsive and market-leading offering. Key Qualifications: 8+ years of experience in workers’ compensation, disability, auto injury, or closely related fields. Proven success in business unit leadership, product strategy, or commercial execution within a B2B or SaaS environment. Strong understanding of claims operations, guidelines, payer/provider workflows, and regulatory frameworks. Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex stakeholder relationships. Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare administration, public policy, or a related field; an advanced degree (Masters or MBA) is preferred. Willingness to travel up to 30%. Experience in modernizing established product portfolios in evolving markets. Background in digital health, medical management, or claims analytics. Familiarity with utilization review processes, provider networks, and state regulations related to disability and injury claims. Solid financial acumen with the capability to develop business cases for new opportunities. Compensation & Benefits: The compensation package includes a competitive salary range of $178,000 - $249,000, plus potential bonuses. Additional benefits encompass health, dental, and vision insurance, employer-paid life and long-term disability insurance, a 401(k) match, paid volunteer days, pet insurance, parental leave, and generous paid time off.
