Description Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients in both inpatient and outpatient environments, developing tailored treatment plans that reflect their unique circumstances Implement physical therapy techniques aimed at enhancing mobility, strength, balance, and overall functionality Partner with a multidisciplinary team, including nurses, physicians, and rehabilitation specialists, to ensure optimal health outcomes Provide education to patients and their families regarding therapeutic objectives, discharge plans, and home exercise routines Maintain meticulous documentation of evaluations, treatments, and patient progress in accordance with facility protocols and regulations Engage in interdisciplinary conferences and care team discussions to foster fluid and coordinated patient care Education
Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or an equivalent degree from a recognized institution Certifications
Valid state licensure as a
Physical Therapist CPR certification is preferred Additional specialized certifications (e.g., in geriatrics or neurology) are advantageous but not mandatory Skills
Strong preference for prior clinical experience Capable of treating patients with diverse and complex medical issues Exceptional communication and collaborative skills Proficient with digital systems for charting and clinical documentation Benefits
