Job Summary
We are seeking a Clinic Medical Assistant to assist with prepping charts for daily appointments, managing the patient's appointment schedule, maintaining cleanliness and supplies in the exam and waiting area, communicating patient status and needs to the clinician, and assisting with check-out and follow-up duties for patients. This role is responsible for managing all aspects of patient greeting and check-in under the supervision of a healthcare practitioner.
Key Responsibilities Manage patient greeting and check-in process. Handle ~50% clinical and ~50% administrative duties such as referrals, prior authorizations, scheduling, insurance, and phone calls. Maintain patient volume at 15-20 per clinic, focusing on quality of care over productivity. Communicate patient status and needs to the clinician. Assist with check-out and follow-up for patients. Qualifications
Active MA-C through the Washington State Department of Health Experience in clinical settings with responsibilities split between clinical and administrative tasks. Capable of managing patient appointment schedules. Proficient in using clinical knowledge to assist in patient care. Nice to Have Skills
