Overview:
The Behavioral Health Clinical Operations Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the state-licensed Behavioral Health Services (BH) Department, specifically focused on core mental health services. This role ensures the delivery of high-quality, culturally responsive care within a whole-person, integrated care framework, while maintaining compliance with state, federal, county, and contract requirements. The position works closely with the Department Director on strategic program development, financial sustainability, and staff support, with an emphasis on serving Asian and Native Hawaiian/Pacific Islander (A&NHPI) communities.
Key Responsibilities • Provide clinical oversight to six supervisors and ensure effective support for case managers and medical staff. • Lead crisis triage and provide decision-making support to clinical teams. • Participate in management and departmental meetings to align operations with organizational goals. • Offer supervision, consultation, and guidance to clinical staff. • Maintain availability for crisis response and urgent clinical needs. • Balance administrative responsibilities (25%) with clinical oversight (75%). • Support the development and implementation of integrated behavioral health programs that prioritize diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Schedule • Part-time, 24 hours per week • Shift option 1: Monday/Wednesday/Thursday (8:30 a.m.-5:00 p.m., 30-minute lunch) • Shift option 2: Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday (8:30 a.m.-5:00 p.m., 30-minute lunch)
Training Period • 1-2 weeks (maximum) including orientation, shadowing supervisors, and onboarding to systems (Epic, Outlook, SharePoint).
Compensation • Hourly Range: $58.51-$62.98
Compliance Requirements • Background check required • TB test required
Contract Length: 1,040 Hours. Opportunity to convert to permanent hire after satisfactory completion of contract.
