On-Site 1st shift - Monday -Thursday, 5:00 AM - 3:00 PM 2nd shift - Monday - Thursday, 3:00 PM - 1:00 AM Weekend Day - 4:00 AM - 4:00 PM What you will do:
Design minor electrical circuits and test and troubleshoot electrical, PLC, and electronic circuits used for machine and equipment control Troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic circuits Install electrical and electronic controls on machines and equipment by reading and interpreting schematics or blueprints Demonstrate knowledge of electrical power and water distribution systems Perform basic mechanical repairs Perform work associated with lower classification levels Direct the work of others in lower classifications as needed Dismantle electrical machinery and replace defective electrical or mechanical parts, such as brushes and armatures Install and monitor the performance of electrical equipment for hazards, adjustments, or replacement Interpret blueprints and work from sketches or verbal instructions Lay out, assemble, install, test, repair, and adjust electrical fixtures, apparatus, equipment, wiring, and new services, including panels, breakers, and conduit Mount motors, transformers, and lighting fixtures into position and complete circuits according to diagram specifications Repair, install, replace, and test electrical circuits and equipment using appropriate tools and testing instruments Perform a variety of tasks as directed by the Group Leader What you will need to be successful: Two-year associate degree Minimum of 5 years of work experience Ability to utilize a computer to search for parts and enter work into a CMMS Benefits overview: Vision, dental, and health insurance 401k PTO Interested and qualified candidates can contact Marlyn Herrera at (515) 225-7000 or email mhererra@thepalmergroup.com.
