Are you an expert in building robust and highly functional web applications, passionate about delivering solutions that streamline business operations? We are searching for a talented .NET Web Application Developer to join our internal IT team, responsible for critical applications supporting a leading manufacturer of horticultural labels. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing and enhancing sophisticated web-based tools that manage key aspects of our operations, from order processing to inventory management. Your work will directly impact efficiency, accuracy, and overall business performance, requiring a keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain high-performance web applications using the Microsoft .NET framework and C#. Work across the full stack, from user interface to database interaction, ensuring seamless functionality. Develop and optimize SQL Server database components, including complex queries, stored procedures, and triggers. Implement intuitive and responsive user interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Collaborate closely with business users and other IT team members to define requirements and deliver tailored solutions. Ensure applications adhere to security best practices and performance standards. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, providing timely support for existing systems. Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, from conception to deployment and maintenance.
Recommended Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field or equivalent practical experience. 3-5 years of hands-on experience in developing web applications with C# and ASP.NET (MVC, Web Forms, or .NET Core). Strong proficiency in SQL Server, including advanced T-SQL scripting and database administration basics. Demonstrated expertise in front-end web technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (including AJAX). Experience with ORM tools, such as Entity Framework. Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with jQuery and/or other client-side libraries. Understanding of manufacturing processes or supply chain management systems. Experience with reporting tools (e.g., SSRS). Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS).
