As a vital part of our team, you will help support and enhance the Navy-Marine Corps Intranet, focusing on cybersecurity services, network operations, service desk support, and data management. By unifying shore-based networks, we aim to improve efficiency and reduce costs for essential IT services.
Your Role as a Help Desk Support Representative:
As the first point of contact for IT-related concerns, you will provide tier 1 support via phone and online platforms. Your responsibilities will include:
Monitoring network health and status to ensure optimal performance.
Documenting and communicating outage information effectively to colleagues and users.
Executing scripts as necessary to assist with problem resolution.
Opening and closing support tickets accurately.
Correlating events and incidents to improve IT service management.
Basic Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED with 3 years of relevant experience.
U.S. Citizenship with an active DOD Secret security clearance (or the ability to obtain one).
DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (e.g., CompTIA Security+).
Availability to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in IT customer service, including 2 years of experience with ticketing systems and 1 year with remote desktop tools.
Compensation:
The expected salary for this role starts at $26.70 per hour, with final offers considering experience, education, and internal equity, among other factors.
