Leasing Professional
(Full-Time) Location : Everett, WA About The Position
The Leasing Professional is responsible for executing the communitys leasing and renewal strategies to achieve targeted revenue, occupancy, and resident retention goals by performing all activities related to leasing to new residents, securing resident lease renewals and ensuring resident satisfaction. This role combines sales, customer service and marketing to effectively lease apartment homes and build exceptional relationships with guests and residents. Responsibilities
Engage with prospective residents through the companys lead management software, email and phone calls, appointments, and follow-up communication, in accordance with company policies. Tour and lease apartment homes, guiding new residents through the application, tax credit and move-in process. Introduce new residents to leasing documentation, community rules and policies, apartment functions, and emergency procedures to ensure satisfaction at move-in. Assist with the administration of lease agreements, addendums, renewals, and prospect screening processes with accuracy and compliance. Inspect apartment homes prior to move-in to ensure move-in ready condition. Keep Yardi and associated resident management software up to date with rent charges, occupants, lease dates and other data. Record traffic information daily and maintain resident files per company policy. Assist with compliance requirements of the tax credit program as it relates to the community (new move-ins and re-certifications). Participate in resident events, community programming and local/non-profit programs. Support overall marketing and leasing efforts including social media engagement, reputation management, advertising, market surveys, marketing collateral, curb appeal and pricing. Follow established policies related to concessions, specials, and all marketing programs. Ensure show-ready units by inspecting daily, communicating maintenance needs, and preparing units as needed. Assist with front desk duties and general office tasks as assigned. Respond to resident questions and concerns in a timely manner, collaborating with Resident Relations to de-escalate and resolve issues. Maintain a satisfactory closing ratio and shop program score as it relates to company goals. Stay informed about market and competitor conditions that may impact occupancy and sales. Maintain a healthy, safe, and presentable property; perform cleaning as needed. Provide excellent customer service to residents, prospects and guests. Complete tasks by deadlines and communicate obstacles to supervision in advance. Work collaboratively and respectfully with peers and other departments. Experience and Qualifications
Minimum 1 year of sales, customer service, or hospitality experience. Previous multifamily leasing experience preferred. Ability to deliver exceptional customer service in a friendly and professional manner. Proficient with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Excellent written and verbal communication skills. High school education or equivalent required. Must be able to read, write and speak English sufficiently to perform duties. Successful completion of background check and drug screen required. Must be legally eligible to work in the U.S. (I-9 compliant). Benefits
