Huntington Beach, California, United States 0-39 hours/week Contract Role Overview Seasonal Ambassadors at Lush are experts in product and brand knowledge, as well as providing exceptional customer consultations and product demonstrations. Seasonal Ambassadors cultivate strong team relationships and contribute to overall shop excellence in both sales and operations. On the shop floor, they consistently surpass daily sales goals while creating a fun and inclusive team environment that keeps customers coming back for more. For our Seasonal Ambassadors, it's not just about selling soap – it's about making a positive impact on the world, one bar at a time! Responsibilities: Sales and Customer Experience:
Drive sales by using StoreForce dashboard results and feedback to exceed goals. Take ownership of personal results and contribute to the store's overall sales. Customer Experience:
Deliver a world-class experience to every customer. Listen, ask open-ended questions, demonstrate product benefits, and seek opportunities to leave customers with a positive impression. Building the Brand:
Educate customers on brand values (Fighting Animal Testing, Freshest Cosmetics, Ethical Buying, 100% Vegetarian, Handmade, Naked Packaging) and articulate these values in-store and through community engagement. Product Passion:
Maintain up-to-date product knowledge and confidently recommend products to meet customer needs. Team Involvement: Development:
Use available resources to develop sales techniques and product knowledge, support team growth, and seek feedback and opportunities for improvement. Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB):
Encourage open communication, listen to team perspectives, and foster a sense of belonging through teamwork and recognition of each employee's contributions. Operational Excellence: Time and Attendance:
Be punctual and reliable, participate in teamwork, and stay informed about company updates. Visuals and Merchandising:
Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing store environment. Stock and Inventory:
Follow Visual Merchandising guidelines and adjust displays based on sales data. Policies and Procedures:
Adhere to opening/closing procedures, product integrity, respectful workplace, and health & safety standards. Qualifications: Required: Excellent customer service skills Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment Knowledge and passion for skincare, natural beauty, and ethical business Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays Preferred: Experience with consultation-based customer service Strong problem-solving skills for day-to-day operations Experience working in a team and in skincare/cosmetics Experience in cross-cultural collaboration and DEIB or social justice training Fluency in Spanish, French, or other languages Compensation:
