We are seeking an IT Helpdesk Technologist to provide day-to-day support for desktops, POS systems, and networking within a leading oil & gas company. This is a fully on-site position in Dallas, TX, where youll be the first line of defense in resolving technical issues and ensuring smooth business operations. Responsibilities
Provide technical support for Windows desktops, software, and POS (Point of Sale) systems. Troubleshoot network connectivity issues (LAN/WAN/WiFi). Log, track, and resolve tickets within defined SLA timelines. Escalate and coordinate with vendors when necessary. Assist with software patch deployments and monitoring. Deliver a positive and professional customer service experience. Participate in an after-hours support rotation. Requirements
45 years of IT support experience (Windows desktops and/or POS systems). Ability to troubleshoot Windows operating systems and basic networking issues. Experience with ticketing systems and SLA resolution. Familiarity with desktop support tools and eagerness to learn new technologies. Strong communication and customer service skills.
