From gorgeous, wood-beam bed frames to plush, hand-dyed blankets, each of our 142 rooms and suites embraces Vermont's signature style. Create your own legacy with the Woodstock Inn & Resort and Saskadena Six Ski Area as we are seeking Ticket Sellers to join our team. The family-friendly terrain at Saskadena Six Ski Area sets the tone for a classic winter ski day in the mountains, with gentle terrain perfectly suited for beginners. Saskadena Six welcomes both skiers and snowboarders to its downhill slopes and a terrain park. There are 2 lifts servicing 28 trails 30% rated as beginner terrain, 40% as intermediate and 30% as advanced with the longest run spanning a distance of 5,280 feet. Rentals, repairs, lessons and a cozy base lodge are all available on-site. Job Summary: The Food and Beverage Cashier will be responsible for operating the cash register and completing transactions with a customer-first approach. Job Specifications: Expected Pay Range: starting $17.00 per hour Shift & Schedule Availability: Full time seasonal and part time seasonal positions available 8:00am 4:00pm, Wednesday through Sunday, must be available to work weekends and holidays Job Responsibilities: Greet all customers visiting your location while tending to them in a timely and professional manner Be able to multitask and have basic time management skills Operate cash register, accept various payments, make change and maintain proper cash levels. Learn to count down and properly close a register at the end of a shift. Make sure coffee is always full and hot and maintain a clean coffee bar Stock and maintain product levels Keep register area clean and free of trash and clutter Rotate product when stocking with new to maintain freshness (sell older first) Job Requirements: Minimum of 18 years of age. A professional and friendly personality is essential to this important service role. The right candidate will be able to maintain a pleasant, responsive, helpful and knowledgeable attitude while juggling many demands. Excellent listening/communication skills are necessary as is an ability to accurately perform basic math. Previous customer service experience, including cash handling, and general computer knowledge is preferred Work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team.
