Job Description & Requirements Specialty: CT Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel 36360410 CT TECHNOLOGIST DESCRIPTION: Job Title: CAT Scan Technologist Responsibilities: Perform general CAT scans (chest, abdomen, spine, extremities), fluoroscopy, and pediatric exams. Complete post-processing and CTA procedures in a timely and accurate manner. Provide efficient and precise imaging for trauma patients. Handle medications during distribution or administration when required. Access secured drug storage areas as necessary. Minimize radiation exposure for patients, self, and staff by following established safety protocols. Maintain high standards of image quality and consistency. Demonstrate leadership in coordinating radiology care across multiple settings. Contribute to departmental planning and process improvement initiatives. Participate in departmental and modality-specific meetings. Assist in orientation, training, and mentoring of new staff and students. Required Skills & Experience: Minimum of 2 years of relevant CT experience. Demonstrated reliability, effective communication, and teamwork skills. Strong problem-solving, independent judgment, and decision-making abilities. Education Requirements: Required: Associate’s Degree. Certifications & Licensure: ARRT certification required.
