Product Owner
for a contract with a client in
McLean, VA . The candidate will lead the strategic roadmap for loyalty initiatives and manage the product backlog while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver personalized, data-driven solutions. Rate Range:
$53/hour to 60/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. Product Owner job responsibilities include: Define and evolve the strategic roadmap for the loyalty program, aligning with business goals and customer expectations. Own and manage the product backlog, translating stakeholder requirements into actionable user stories and prioritizing development efforts. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, sales, IT, and Salesforce developers to deliver scalable, customer-centric solutions. Leverage Salesforce capabilities (Sales, Service, Marketing, Experience Clouds) to personalize rewards and enhance customer engagement. Lead agile ceremonies and ensure quality delivery, working closely with QA teams to test features and monitor program performance. Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and continuously optimize the loyalty program using analytics and customer feedback. Required Qualifications: Bachelors degree in business, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field; MBA or equivalent is a plus. 810 years of experience in product ownership, customer experience, and Salesforce platform leadership. Strong expertise in managing loyalty programs and customer engagement strategies using Salesforce tools like Marketing Cloud and Experience Cloud. Proven ability to translate customer insights and business goals into actionable product features, with hands-on experience in backlog management and agile delivery.
