American Traveler is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with at least two years of recent specialty experience, CA state license, and flexible day shift availability. Responsibilities Position is in a nuclear medicine department within a radiology/cardiology setting 5x8 hour day shifts with variable start times Monday through Saturday between 6:30 am and 9:30 am Flexibility with schedule is required, including coverage for investigational research PET scans Patient caseload includes both clinical and research nuclear medicine studies No blocked or self-scheduling is permitted Cerner charting experience required Locals are accepted at the same rate as travelers Duties include performing nuclear medicine and PET scan procedures, including investigational research studies with limited isotope availability No requests for time off (RTO) are permitted during the first two weeks of assignment Maximum of 7 days RTO per 13-week contract is highly preferred; all RTO must be confirmed at time of offer and cannot be modified after submission except to cancel requested days Return staff policy requires at least one year between assignments to be eligible as a traveler Completion of pre-hire and annual modules required, typically 48 hours depending on specialty Scrubs or dress code policy not specified First-time travelers will be considered Requirements

Active California Nuclear Medicine Technologist license required in hand at time of application (license required if applicable) Minimum 2 years of recent nuclear medicine experience in an acute care setting Current BLS certification required ARRT (N), CNMT, and NMTCB certifications required ARRT (R) and PET experience preferred Cerner EMR experience required Two supervisor references required for consideration Pass/fail EKG exam required (three attempts allowed) Benefits
