CT Technologist - Cat Scan (Per Diem) (Irvine) Join the transformative team at City of Hope, where we\'re changing lives and making a real difference in the fight against cancer, diabetes, and other life-threatening illnesses. City of Hope\'s growing national system includes its Los Angeles campus, a network of clinical care locations across Southern California, a new cancer center in Orange County, California, and treatment facilities in Atlanta, Chicago and Phoenix. Our dedicated and compassionate employees are driven by a common mission: To deliver the cures of tomorrow to the people who need them today. This position requires flexibility to accommodate varying patient needs. Shifts may include days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays. On-call responsibilities and mandatory overtime may also be necessary. Responsibilities
Perform CT scan procedures, obtain patient history, explain routine procedures, and address patient concerns Assist the radiologist, surgeon, and/or clinician during CT procedures, including invasive and non-invasive studies Prepare contrast media and contrast injector; execute injection protocol and monitor injection Prepare the patient, explain the procedure, and ensure patient cooperation during the examination Contribute to Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) activities to enhance imaging services Qualifications
Post High School Vocational/Specialized Training in Radiologic Technology or equivalent. Experience may substitute for minimum education requirements At least 1 year hospital or imaging center experience AMA approved school of Diagnostic Radiologic Technology ARRT (Radiography) CRT (Radiography) Successful completion of CT orientation CPR Note:
