Molson Coors Category Insights Manager - Team Lead

Here's to crafting careers and creating new legacies. The Category Insights Manager - Team Lead is based in Bentonville, AR and is part of the Walmart Category Insights Team. You will be accountable for achieving business results by leading a team of 5 direct reports to develop customer plans that are rooted in the Purpose Drives Purchase category philosophy, and fueled by critical insights and solutions to grow the size and the value of the customers' beverage category, and to grow Molson Coors Beverage Company (MCBC) portfolio of brands as a result. This position reports to the Molson Coors Director of Category Insights - Walmart and works closely with our insights and space lab teams. What you'll be brewing: Lead and coach team of category management advisors to provide proactive insights supporting Walmart merchants. Champion a fact-based Category First approach within our Category Advisor and Walmart Merchandising Team. Deliver thought leadership for the total beer category translating complex data from multiple sources into clear, actionable insights. Lead space and assortment strategy development and the assortment planning process for the modular relay cycle to enable advisor team to provide store level category assortment. Be the strategic Advisor that works with cross functional teams on the development, execution, and commercialization of the Shopper/Consumer learning agenda to support our award-winning purpose drives purchase category strategy. Create total category solutions that advance all pillars of category management (space & assortment, revenue management, category insights, in-store and digital merchandising) to accelerate Walmart's leadership of the Beer category. Key ingredients: You have a bachelor's degree OR at least 5 years of experience in data analysis/category management. You have significant experience with syndicated data (Circana, NIQ, etc.) and are adept at leveraging retailer POS and shopper data (Scintilla Channel Performance and Shopper Behavior or similar). You have strong analytical and story-telling skills leveraging Power Point and proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, Power BI, Tableau, etc.) You have a deep understanding of space and assortment and how that comes to life through the modular relay process. You have experience developing team members to think critically and lead with insights. You are a motivated leader that can inspire others you respect your commitments and are able to obtain optimal results from your team through respect and development.
