a Scrum Master

to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will

be onsite located in Dulles, VA . You will become part of Northrop Grumman's Integrated Missions Operating Unit and Ground Capabilities organization to support a classified program with the development and delivery of mission critical satellite ground systems. You should have strong interpersonal effectiveness, communication and problem-solving skills with an innate drive to continuously learn and accomplish tasks with quality in mind. You must have excellent written and oral communication skills. Roles and Responsibilities: Organize and facilitate program increment (PI) planning, daily stand ups, iteration reviews, retrospectives, iteration planning, demos and other meetings.

Track and communicate Agile metrics which may include team velocity and sprint/program increment progress within the Scaled Agile (SAFe) framework.

Ensure the Scrum/Kanban Framework is implemented effectively and provide coaching/training at the team level to maximize benefits of SAFe framework.

Function as servant leader for team by identifying and removing impediments, facilitating discussion and conflict resolution.

Support the Product Owner, assist with product backlog maintenance, internal and external communication.

Assist with making appropriate commitments to deliver business value through story selection, definition of tasks and estimation.

Participate proactively in developing and maintaining standards, tools, processes, and best practices with the team.

Maintain an in-depth knowledge of customers mission, priorities, and supporting processes and practices.

Basic Qualifications: To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below. Principal Scrum Master Active/current TS is required at time of application.

Bachelor's degree in a related field with 5 years experience; or 3 years experience with a Masters; or a PhD. Experience can be considered in lieu of degree.

Previous experience supporting U.S. Government customers.

Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.

Sr. Principal Scrum Master Active/current TS is required at time of application.

Bachelor's degree in a related field with 9 years experience; or 7 years experience with a Masters; or 4 years of experience with a PhD. Experience can be considered in lieu of degree.

Previous experience supporting U.S. Government customers.

Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.

Preferred Qualifications: Certification in one or more of these designations is preferred.

Certification: SAFe SPC, Scrum Alliance Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM).

2 years of experience working as a Scrum Master/Team coach.

Knowledge of space/ground communication technologies and architectures.

Experience with cybersecurity or networking.

Experience with Cost Account Management (CAM) Role.

Experience with Earned Value Management System (EVMS).

$107,300 - $160,900 Salary Range 2:

$133,000 - $199,600 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
