REPORTS TO: Director of Sales and Marketing Summary ASM Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has an excellent and immediate opening for a Sales Account Executive for ASM Global/Caesars Superdome | Smoothie King Center | Champions Square. Responsible for booking events at the ASM Managed Complex, including all spaces available for rental within the Caesars Superdome, Smoothie King Center, Champions Square, and Club XLIV. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Generate new sales leads and establish new bookings Achieve monthly metrics for activities such as prospecting, networking and business development. Complete quarterly and annual sales goals. Respond to all incoming sales leads, including Convention Calendar leads as assigned Create customized rental proposals for all spaces within the complex Follow up on proposals/leads Maintain relationships with existing clients Maintain accurate holds and client information in booking system: Infor Submit requests for Event Coordinators to work up estimated staffing costs Prepare and distribute Detailed Event Sheets for confirmed events and make revisions as necessary Work as needed with Event Coordinators for a smooth transition of accounts Be physically present for client check-ins at the beginning of all sold events. Maintain sales files with accurate information, including, but not limited to, leads, proposals, correspondence, etc. Conduct and assist in-site visits with prospective clients Prepare site visit packets, coordinate customized boards with production, and create customer presentations as applicable Work events as assigned Create thank you letters and follow up with clients at the conclusion of each event Create and routinely update sales tools, both digital and tangible Assist in the creation of copy for sales collateral, ads, E-blasts, etc. Assist in the implementation of the overall social media marketing plan Complete Client Information Sheets for definite bookings for creation of License Agreements Initiate License Agreements for definite bookings and proof prior to circulation for signatures Participate in hospitality-related events and associations to promote facilities, which can include evening and weekend responsibilities. Share in the responsibilities of coordinating and executing company hosted events Special projects as assigned All other duties as assigned Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Must successfully pass a driving record and criminal background check Ability to handle multiple tasks at one time and ensure completion and attention to detail Ability to deliver high-quality work and function both independently and as a team member Able to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed Excellent written/oral communication skills Ability to physically move around the facility Education and/or Experience Associate Degree or equivalent related work experience (Hospitality Management, Venue Sales, Customer Service, or related field) The ideal candidate would have a minimum of two (2) years of sales experience, preferably in the hospitality industry Sales/Guest Service/Customer Service experience (face to face interaction) Knowledge in MS Windows apps (Office, Word, PowerPoint, Excel) Adobe Suite and Sales CRM software experience a plus Certificates, Licenses, Registrations Must possess a valid United States Drivers License at time of appointment and throughout employment Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
