Overview
We are seeking a skilled
Systems Engineer
to manage and optimize the
Microsoft Active Directory
environment, with a strong focus on
on-premises AD infrastructure
and
Entra Connect . This role supports the data center strategy and implements technical improvements aligned with organizational policies. Responsibilities
Design, deploy, and maintain
Active Directory environments , including domains, trusts, and organizational units Oversee infrastructure upgrades, security patches, and Entra Connect updates Install and configure
domain controllers
and directory services Manage default domain and hardening policies Optimize
Group Policy Objects (GPOs)
to meet security and compliance standards Configure AD replication, sites, and services for high performance Support and refine delegation within GPO and OU structures Monitor AD health and proactively resolve service issues Troubleshoot AD-related issues including
DNS, LDAP, and GPO integration Serve as subject matter expert during IT audits and third-party assessments Mentor junior engineers to promote growth and technical excellence Maintain documentation for AD architecture and procedures Develop and deploy
scripting and automation
to enhance DWT service delivery Drive continuous improvement initiatives and identify areas for efficiency, compliance, and cost reduction Required Experience
Bachelor's degree + 6 years of experience as a systems engineer or programmer OR High School Diploma/GED + 10 years of equivalent experience Strong experience with
Active Directory administration
including delegation, replication, and protocol management Proven success building
Active Directory infrastructure
across multiple domains Nice-to-Have Experience
Expertise in
AD design, deployment, and Entra ID / Entra Connect administration Experience with
M365 passthrough authentication Familiarity with security hardening and policy enforcement for domain environments Required Skills
Active Directory Administration Entra Connect / Entra ID Group Policy (GPO) Management Preferred Skills
