Travel Surgical First Assistant - $3,884 per week

Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Surgical First Assistant Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 10/10/2025 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Title: CVOR Certified Surgical First Assistant Location: Greenville, SC Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day, 2x10-Hour (06:00 – 16:30) Note: Hours paid (Bi- Weekly) Job Description. Responsibilities: Work within the CVOR department under a team model (1 RN 2 CST per team). Assist in an average of 3 open-heart procedures per day. Scheduled shifts: Friday–Monday every other week, 6:00 am – 4:30 pm. Participate in on-call rotation after shifts on Friday–Sunday during scheduled weeks. Float to the OR when CVOR case volume is low. Adhere to Prisma Health’s floating policy (staff may be reassigned to qualified units as needed). Support surgical procedures as First Scrub (experience preferred). Requirements: Minimum 2 years of experience. Must have Level 1 Trauma experience. Prior travel experience required. Certifications: BLS, CST, and CSFA through NBSTSA. EPIC EMR experience (minimum 1 year).
