Hi, I'm Yoav, the VP of Artificial Intelligence at EnsoData! Weu2019re seeking an AI Engineer passionate about making healthcare better through AI that powers EnsoData's systems. As an AI Engineer, youu2019ll design, develop, validate, and deploy AI systems used in real-world clinical settings. Your work will fuel products trusted by clinicians, delivering safe, effective, and regulatory-compliant solutions. Youu2019ll have opportunities to pursue cutting-edge research with pathways to publish in peer-reviewed journals and present at leading conferences. This hybrid/remote position offers a flexible work environment, a competitive salary of $120,000 - $150,000, along with stock options and generous benefits, including paid time off. About EnsoData
EnsoData strives to make healthcare more accurate, efficient, and affordable through waveform artificial intelligence (AI) technology. Using AI and machine learning, our software analyzes billions of data points collected from sensors placed throughout the human body. Our first solution, EnsoSleep, reduces the time clinicians spend analyzing, scoring and managing sleep studies. This results in a simplified and accelerated patient testing, diagnosis, and treatment workflow. Our AI-powered technology has the capability of informing health decisions beyond sleep medicine, from monitoring patient health in the ICU or through wearables, to detecting and capturing seizure data, to providing earlier detection of heart disease, diabetes, stroke, and Alzheimeru2019s. EnsoTherapy - AI-Powered PAP Therapy Adherence Support Responsibilities Design, develop, validate, and deploy AI systems used in real-world clinical settings. Deliver safe, effective, and regulatory-compliant solutions for healthcare products. Collaborate with product, research, and clinical teams to align AI initiatives with patient care goals. Contribute to cutting-edge research and pursue opportunities to publish and present at conferences.
Qualifications
3+ years of hands-on ML experience, ideally in regulated or safety-critical domains. Deep expertise in machine learning, deep learning, and modern data science methods. Proficiency with physiological signals, time series, or sensor data. Strong coding skills in Python, and proficiency with ML/DL libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Scikit-learn. Experience with medical data (imaging, physiological, EHR) a plus. Experience addressing model interpretability, bias, and real-world deployment challenges. Familiarity with SaMD regulatory frameworks (FDA 510(k), MDSAP, ISO 13485) a plus. Startup mindset: adaptable, resourceful, autonomous, and impact-driven.
Education and Experience
B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field (Ph.D. a plus). Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes). Experience with data engineering tools such as BigQuery, Mongo, Airflow, Dagster. Published research or patents in healthcare AI, and/or contributions to open source software.
