8-hour shift 5 days each week, with the shift schedule from 23:00-07:30, total of 40 hours per week. Ultrasound Technician with Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification. Need 2 Professional References. The all-inclusive hourly non-local pay rate for this position is $65.52/hr, encompassing a taxable component of $50.68/hr, along with a per diem of $14.83/hr.

Responsible for providing quality diagnostic ultrasound procedures and the care needed to ensure patient comfort and safety.

Responsibilities
The Ultrasound Technologist performs diagnostic ultrasound studies, demonstrating good judgment in the use and application of ultrasound equipment.
The incumbent assesses the findings in the ultrasound examinations and assists the radiologist and staff physicians in interpreting the ultrasound studies.
Qualifications
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
National Institutes of Health (NIH)
Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
Active unencumbered Sonography state license
Graduate from a fully accredited Sonography program
Two years of work experience as Sonography
One year of EMR experience
Associates Degree in Sonography
ARDMS Certification
SKILLS/ABILITIES/COMPETENCIES REQUIRED
Maintains and updates clinical knowledge and skills.
Participates in relevant continuing education programs.
Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all patients.
Ability to take initiative and to exercise independent judgment, decision-making and problem-solving expertise.
A can-do, team oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital.
Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks.
