Genesis10 is seeking a Front End Developer IV for a 12 month contract in the retail industry in Richfield, MN. The role is 90% remote, with one day onsite per week. Project and team context: You will join the Client Experience Team, contributing to the customer app (built with React Native) and web navigation components (built with React). The team focuses on product discovery experiences and optimizing customer shopping journeys for a top 5 e-commerce experience. The department is part of the Client & Personalization sub-org under E-Comm, Category & Loyalty, under Ram in DAT. Responsibilities Work as part of a world-class mobile & web engineering team delivering results through rapid iterations. Build meaningful experiences for customers in React and React Native that are proven, well-thought, and validated. Directly contribute to feature design, architecture, implementation and team culture that fosters innovative problem solving. Interact with peer developers, Product Management, Design, and QA.
Required qualifications
6+ years of experience with web development (JavaScript, React, NodeJS). 2+ years of experience working on a global team. 3+ years of experience with mobile app development. Minimum of 8 years related software development experience with Bachelors degree; additional 2 years of experience without BS/BA. Proficiency with server side rendering design patterns for web development.
Preferred / Nice-to-have skills
Experience with TypeScript, NodeJS, NextJS, GraphQL, Zustand, Charles proxy tool, etc. Comfort in a test-driven, agile team; experience with Jira or similar bug tracking software. Proficiency with UNIX/Linux/macOS command line. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to interact with senior executives. Flexible problem-solving ability and strong product focus to deliver the best product for customers.
Compensation
Hourly W2 pay: $70.00 to $80.00/hour. Additional contract, contract-to-hire, and direct hire opportunities with various rate ranges may be available. About Genesis10
