As a Strategic Sales Manager, youll lead high-impact sales strategy for innovative programs, drive IDN, Regional, and Local contracts, tools, and training that shape the future of our company.
Candidates should ideally be located in the Central US. What Youll Do Develop and execute account strategies in collaboration with the sales team to drive performance across key customers, national programs, and local agreements. Partner with Finance, Marketing, and other cross-functional teams to design tools and initiatives that improve pricing, programming, and overall business outcomes. Identify growth and retention opportunities by analyzing market trends, competitive dynamics, and customer data to inform strategic decisions. Build and nurture relationships with internal stakeholders and executive-level customer contacts to influence business outcomes and strengthen long-term partnerships. Lead collaboration and partnership efforts, aligning strategies and resources to maximize ROI and expand the companys reach. Translate complex data into actionable insights through reporting and performance tracking tools that support sales strategy and execution. Support strategic contracting by targeting GPO/IDN agreements and competitive conversions to unlock new business and protect existing revenue. Actively contribute to VB Spines commercial strategy, bringing a voice of the customer and marketplace intelligence to internal planning. Mentor and train sales and marketing personnel in strategic tools, messaging, and business planning to elevate team effectiveness. Serve as a strategic advisor and thought partner to senior leadership, influencing initiatives that shape growth, innovation, and operational excellence. This role requires approximately 50% travel.
What You Bring
Bachelors degree + 5 years of work experience, sales highly preferred OR High school diploma + 8 years of relevant work experience Spine industry and contract experience strongly preferred A self-starter attitude with the confidence to work independently and anticipate customer needs Excellent analytical and organizational skills Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills Demonstrated effective project management skills The ability to build relationships and influence different groups

Pay for this role is competitive and based on experience, with additional factors like territory requirements, qualifications, and performance taken into account. The typical pay range for this position is $115,000 - $200,000 annually, with potential for bonuses and incentives plus benefits. Final compensation is determined on a case-by-case basis and considers experience level, skillset, and market conditions. Benefits
