Position Overview: We are eager to find a skilled and dynamic Manager, Global Procurement Process Owner to oversee our Procure-to-Pay (P2P) operations across our international locations. This influential leadership position is crucial for designing, implementing, and refining P2P functions while fostering collaboration among key stakeholders, including sourcing, IT, legal, and finance. You will spearhead the vision and strategy for P2P excellence, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and standardization, while fostering clear and effective communication across the organization. A proactive, hands-on leadership style focused on continuous improvement and stakeholder satisfaction is essential for success in this role. Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute a clear vision and strategy for the Global Process Owner team and P2P operations. Create and align an annual operational plan with broader organizational goals. Ensure P2P processes are strategically aligned with overall business objectives. Enhance stakeholder satisfaction by identifying opportunities for value-add and continuous improvement, including leveraging AI where beneficial. Act as the primary point of contact for all stakeholders involved in the P2P process. Process Management: Take full ownership of the end-to-end P2P process, encompassing Accounts Payable, Purchasing, and Supplier Management. Design and implement a global P2P process that aligns with business objectives and industry best practices. Map out comprehensive organizational workflows for cross-functional P2P activities. Oversee essential operations such as Purchase Requisitions, Purchase Orders, new supplier onboarding, and Vendor Invoice Management. Serve as the Single Point of Contact for all P2P-related inquiries and escalations. Standardization and Optimization: Ensure uniformity in P2P processes across different regions and business units. Lead the design and requirements gathering for SAP rollouts in new countries. Drive process enhancements for SAP upgrades in existing operations. Establish efficient workflows to guarantee timely and accurate invoice processing. Maintain global standards, monitoring risks and implementing corrective actions proactively. Technology Management: Serve as the business owner of P2P technologies and systems. Play a role in developing and executing the technology roadmap. Evaluate and introduce innovative technologies to streamline P2P processes. Collaborate with IT on system configurations and master data cleanses related to P2P operations. Performance Tracking and Improvement: Identify, track, and act on key performance indicators (KPIs) for the P2P process. Manage and ensure SLA metrics fulfillment with stakeholders. Monitor service performance rigorously and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Stay informed about emerging trends and technologies that can resolve current process challenges. Team Leadership: Lead and develop a dedicated global team of P2P support professionals. Provide daily management, coaching, and mentoring to direct reports. Encourage collaboration and knowledge sharing among globally distributed team members. Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with procurement, finance, IT, and various business units to ensure successful implementation. Proactively manage and resolve operational and business challenges. Facilitate the resolution of issues across departments to improve PR-to-invoice processes. Training and Change Management: Develop and implement comprehensive training programs regarding P2P processes. Lead change management initiatives and process training delivery. Create and execute onboarding programs for new team members. Compliance Management: Ensure all procurement activities adhere to regulations and internal policies. Partner with Internal Audit and Compliance teams to foster best practices. Engage with Legal teams to manage policy adherence and mitigate risks. Required Skills and Experience: Significant experience leading Procure-to-Pay processes in a global or international context. A record of successfully driving process transformations and change across organizations. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Outstanding communication skills, capable of engaging stakeholders at every level. Familiarity with P2P best practices and metrics. Experience with SAP systems and process automation efforts. Preferred Qualifications: Certifications in Process and Project Management (e.g., PMP, Lean Six Sigma). Professional certifications in procurement or supply chain management. Experience in fast-paced, rapidly growing environments. Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Supply Chain, or a related field. Travel Requirements: Willingness to travel approximately 20% for team management, system implementations, and training, as needed.
