ABOUT THE ROLE The Plant Operations Manager plays a critical role in driving efficiency and productivity in the mining of raw materials and the production of shippable products. Your leadership is essential in ensuring timely and cost-effective responses to Aggregate Dispatcher requests while maintaining the highest quality standards. In this role, you will oversee staffing and inventory management at the plant. You will collaborate closely with the Aggregate Operations Department, Fleet Maintenance Department, and Quality Control Department, as well as the Regional Administration and Financial functions. Your responsibilities include analyzing production efficiency and productivity to maximize the utilization of on-site vehicles and equipment, as well as developing effective mining and production strategies that prioritize safety, enhance productivity, and control costs. WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH Identify and leverage new operational opportunities to enhance efficiency and productivity. Meet customer needs while safeguarding the company's long-term interests. Initiate and implement production programs that boost productivity and ensure safe operations, all while adhering to budget constraints. Supervise performance and delegate responsibilities effectively, holding team members accountable in a constructive manner. Participate in safety inspections and ensure compliance during MSHA inspections. Engage directly with plant crew members, including operators and laborers, fostering effective teamwork. Manage scheduling and oversee preventative maintenance tasks. Maintain inventory levels to meet customer demands proficiently. Oversee rail circuit loading and unloading processes. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR Education:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (5 years). Field of Study Preferred:

Mining Engineering, Management, CIM. Required Work Experience:

5-7 years in Aggregate Mining and related Raw Materials Plant Production. Required Technical Skills:

Proficiency in computer systems; experience with SAP is a plus. Additional Requirements:
