About the Role

The Georgia State Financing and Investment Commission (GSFC) is seeking an experienced .NET Developer to design, develop, and maintain web applications using ASP.NET Core and C#. This role requires strong expertise in full SDLC development, modern frameworks, and secure authentication standards (OIDC & SAML).
Candidates should be motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working both independently and as part of a team. This is an onsite role with initial in-office training (Monday Thursday), transitioning to a hybrid schedule based on agency needs.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain secure, scalable web applications using ASP.NET Core (C#).

Collaborate with clients and business users to analyze requirements and deliver solutions.

Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following industry best practices.

Implement and support OIDC & SAML-based authentication solutions.
Work on full SDLC: design, development, deployment, and support.

Design and consume REST APIs for system integration.

Utilize Umbraco CMS, IIS, Docker, and Git for development and deployment.

Ensure cross-team communication and accurate project updates.

Required Qualifications

5+ years ASP.NET Core MVC development experience.

5+ years full life-cycle web application development.

3+ years working with .NET Core, C#, design patterns, and n-tier architectures.

Strong expertise in OIDC & SAML authentication.
Experience with relational databases (Oracle 11g/12c, MS SQL).

Proficiency with HTML, JavaScript, jQuery, CSS, Bootstrap, .NET Framework 4+, .NET Core 8+, Razor Pages, MVC 5.

Experience in REST API development and consumption.

3+ years experience with IIS and Docker.

3+ years Python development (Django/Flask), with strong OOP and core language features.

Highly Desired Skills

Experience with Umbraco (ASP.NET Core CMS).

Proficiency with Visual Studio 2022.

Familiarity with Git version control.

Education

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (Masters preferred)

Equivalent technical experience will be considered.
