Job Description:
As a Web Developer, you will be responsible for the development and maintenance of current and future web applications using ASP.NET and ASP.NET Core with C#. The ideal candidate is a creative, motivated team player with strong experience in .NET development and a solid understanding of OIDC and SAML-based authentication. You will work closely with user representatives to troubleshoot and design solutions, communicate effectively with project leads, and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Write clean, scalable code using ASP.NET Core and C# Develop and maintain web applications across the full lifecycle Collaborate with Client User Representatives to troubleshoot and design solutions Communicate effort estimates, status updates, and potential issues to Project Manager or Team Lead Work independently or as part of a team with minimal supervision Manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively Adapt to changing environments and work creatively with minimal guidance Follow written specifications and established guidelines Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills Required Skills, Experiences, Education, and Competencies:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (Master's preferred) Minimum 5 years of experience in ASP.NET development with focus on .NET MVC Core Minimum 5 years of experience in full lifecycle web application development Minimum 3 years of experience with relational databases including Oracle 11g/12c and MS-SQL Experience with .NET Core C#, n-tier architectures, and design patterns Experience with Identity Server and OIDC/SAML-based authentication Solid understanding of HTML, JavaScript, jQuery, CSS, Bootstrap, Razor Pages, MVC 5 Experience creating and consuming REST APIs Experience with Python (3-5 years), including Django or Flask frameworks Experience with IIS and Docker (minimum 3 years) Familiarity with Git version control Experience with Umbraco (ASP.NET Core CMS) Proficiency with Visual Studio 2022 Strong customer interaction and system requirement analysis skills
The hourly range for roles of this nature are $45.00 to $80.00/hr. Rates are heavily dependent on skills, experience, location, and industry.
