Our first Research and Development facility in the US is located in Coral Springs, Florida which focuses on generic and branded orally inhaled and nasal drug products. Somerset, New Jersey is home to one of twelve commercial manufacturing sites globally and the only commercial manufacturing facility in the United States for Lupin, as well as additional Research and Development teams. Responsibilities
Overview:
The Warehouse Operator is accountable for all receiving, shipping, and warehousing functions. This includes ensuring supply and efficient flow of materials between Manufacturing, Packaging and the Warehouse as well as HAZMAT compliance, international shipping, documentation, ensuring accurate inventory in a continuous improvement environment. This also includes maintaining equipment and facilities as appropriate for a GMP environment.
This is a 2nd shift Position - starting at 2:00 p.m. - 10:15 p.m.
Essential Responsibilities and Duties:
Assists with all shipping, receiving, inventory and warehousing within cGMP guidelines Helps to efficiently carryout all product loading and unloading tasks Tracks incoming and outgoing orders Inspects receivables for defects, damages, or missing items Properly receives incoming goods and updates inventories Unloads, stacks, moves, and places products in appropriately designated areas Moves and transfers products between various sections of the warehouse as needed Uses forklifts, pallet jacks, hand carts, etc. to transfer and deliver goods Performs detailed manual inventory counts Labels warehouse stock for quick and easy identification and retrieval Stacks, shelves, and stages items for storage and shipment as necessary Fulfills and tracks outgoing orders Collects, prepares, packages and labels goods for shipment Verifies the accuracy of outgoing orders Guarantees tools and equipment are kept clean and in working order Reports any equipment malfunctions or issues to upper management Adheres to health and safety rules and regulations at all times Ensures compliance with DOT designated hazardous materials, 49 CFR, and IATA regulation Follow Standard Operating Procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices, and Safety Guideline Exemplifies Lupin's core values through conduct, decision-making, and all forms of communication Other duties and tasks as it applies to effectively handle above listed responsibilities. Qualifications and Education Requirements
High School Diploma Experience operating a forklift is required Knowledge of GMP strongly preferred Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Physical Requirements
The physical requirements of the position generally include: standing, walking, sitting, using hands and fingers, reaching with hands and arms, talking and hearing. In some circumstances, bending, kneeling, crouching, stooping, and crawling may apply. This position may require lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally. Generally work is performed in a warehouse environment.
