Distribution Supervisor , you will oversee operations and employee performance within a dynamic
Distribution Center
environment. This role involves ensuring adherence to quality standards, regulatory compliance (e.g., ISO, GMP, OSHA, DOT), and process efficiency. You'll lead a team of warehouse professionals, support continuous improvement initiatives, and promote a culture of safety, accountability, and high performance.
Key Responsibilities
Train team members and maintain quality systems (including ISO registration) Support hiring and onboarding processes Drive employee performance and development through regular feedback and coaching Resolve employee relations issues and facilitate clear communication Enforce safety, housekeeping, and operational standards Evaluate and improve processes for safety and efficiency Ensure safe handling and shipping of hazardous materials (CFR, IATA, DOT, IMO compliance) Participate in emergency response teams (hazmat, medical, evacuation) Conduct audits and complete incident reports Maintain SOPs and training documentation Schedule daily resources and staffing to maximize output and safety Track labor, materials, and productivity to manage cost Lead process improvement initiatives and cross-functional collaboration Ensure accuracy in receiving, storing, packing, and shipping of chemicals Physical Requirements
May use PPE including respirators, safety gear, and chemical-resistant clothing Must be able to lift/push up to 60 lbs Requires walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, and overhead reaching Required Experience
High school diploma or GED 4+ years of
supervisory experience
in a distribution, warehouse, or manufacturing setting Familiarity with government regulations (GMP, DOT, OSHA, etc.) Preferred Experience
Bachelor's degree in any discipline Experience in chemical manufacturing or hazardous materials handling Operational background in a Distribution Center Required Skills
Team leadership and supervision Safety and compliance oversight Strong organizational and communication skills Incident response and report writing Resource scheduling and productivity monitoring Preferred Skills
