Job Description We are seeking an experienced Orthopedic/Spine trained RN who is skilled in scrubbing and circulating for orthopedic procedures, including shoulders, total joints, and spine surgeries. This position requires flexibility in scheduling, including weekends and on-call duties, to meet the needs of the unit and ensure optimal patient care.
Responsibilities
Scrub and circulate for orthopedic and spine cases.
Participate in weekend on-call shifts as required.
Collaborate with surgical teams to provide high-quality patient care.
Document all surgical procedures in accordance with facility protocols.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a surgical unit.
Experience in a Level 1 trauma center within the last year is required.
EPIC experience from the past 2 years is non-negotiable.
Must provide skills checklists for both circulating and scrubbing.
Strong experience required in General OR, with skills in orthopedic, URO, oncology, Da Vinci Robotics, general surgery, ENT, dental, plastics, neuro, CVT, and trauma.
Current BLS certification is required.
Location Travel is required, and reliable transportation is essential as public transport is not accessible in the area.
Schedule This position involves 10-hour rotating shifts with weekend commitments and on-call responsibilities.
