SUMMARY: The General Manager - Maintenance and Turnaround will lead the operations, overseeing all aspects of capital project execution for refining and petrochemical clients. This role requires a proven leader with strong P&L accountability, project delivery expertise, and client relationship skills.
DUTIES OR RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide overall leadership and direction for Houstons capital projects portfolio, with full P&L accountability.
Develop and implement business strategies to grow capital project presence across Gulf Coast refineries and petrochemical facilities. Oversee project execution from pre-construction through completion, ensuring safety, quality, schedule, and budget compliance. Build and maintain strong client relationships with refinery and petrochemical plant owners, EPCs, and strategic partners. Lead, mentor, and develop project managers, superintendents, and support staff to foster a culture of safety, accountability, and operational excellence. Ensure compliance with all regulatory, safety, and environmental standards. Collaborate with corporate leadership to align operations
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelors degree in engineering, Construction Management, or related field (advanced degree preferred). 12+ years of progressive leadership in maintenance and turnaround execution with in the refining, petrochemical, or industrial services sectors. Demonstrated experience managing large capital projects ($25-$50M+), preferably within a contractor or EPC environment. Strong knowledge of Gulf Coast refinery and petrochemical clients. Proven P&L and operational management experience.
