Position Summary

As the Plant Controller (QuickPlug Canada and QuickPlug Netherlands) you will play a key leadership role within the finance department and plant leadership teams. You will report to the Operations Controller and will partner with Operation leadership to monitor plant performance and provide financial perspective and decision-making support to drive best-in-class performance. The Plant Controller manages all aspects of accounting and provides insight to business partners with respect to financial information. The Plant Controller will play a critical role on the ERP implementation team as QuickPlug will implement the company's standard ERP system in the first half of 2026. The Plant Controller will also lead the annual budgeting process for designated plant locations in collaboration with the Operations Controller and Director of FP&A.

Duties and Responsibilities

The Plant Controller is responsible for providing timely and accurate financial information and reporting in compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and Accounting Policies. Finance business partner to the Operational Leadership teams at QP Canada, and QP Netherlands The Plant Controller will manage the shared services model which includes AR, AP, and General Ledger. Lead continuous improvement efforts associated with internal controls, processes, and procedures Provide financial perspective and decision-making support to improve plant financial performance

Support cash management with the Corporate Treasury Department Lead oversight of all Canadian compliance efforts with government agencies which would include CRA (Canada Revenue Agency), CBSA (Canada Border Service Agency), and local provinces.

Lead development of the annual budgets and weekly forecasts Complete month-end reporting requirements including actual results compared to budget, forecast, and prior periods Review standard cost development for new products and standard cost reviews Lead efforts in identifying opportunities to reduce costs and improve productivity Ensure proper Inventory Controls and valuation methodology and reconcile the perpetual inventory with General Ledger Emphasis on internal communications with staff at all levels throughout the organization; create and promote a positive and supportive work environment Optimize usage of the ERP Systems and be instrumental in the conversion to JD Edwards Enterprise One ERP system for manufacturing Job Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting Must have 10+ years of similar manufacturing finance experience Multi-site controller responsibilities preferred Language Skills:

This position works in a manufacturing setting. Must be able to adapt to the noise level of a manufacturing setting, which is usually moderate to heavy. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as a computer, phone, printer/scanner, and filing cabinets. The temperature will vary from hot to cold, depending on the weather.
