Full-time Nanny required for a West Village family with two children (ages 3 & 6), starting ASAP. Specific duties to be negotiated with the family, but in general, you will be responsible for providing nurturing care with both children in combination with general household duties for the family. The parents are looking for a long term partnership and full time hours are expected regardless of future school schedules (both children are in school full time). The ideal candidate is someone who has energy for busy days, truly flexible (evenings/infrequent weekends as requested) and willing to communicate openly with the family. To be successful in this role, you will need to be someone detail oriented, proactive and organized with their time during school hours/nap time (including daily meal prep/cooking for the children, and general tidying/organizing of all children's areas) with the knowledge that household duties will evolve as the children grow. The candidate should be open to spending a few weeks during the summer in the Hamptons (live in M-F). A driver's license would be ideal for the family (no city driving is expected). Someone who loves to cook would be a valuable asset to this family!

Location: West Village, NYC

Days/times: Monday to Friday guaranteed 35-40 hrs a week depending on candidate preference. Typical hours will skew later - general hours to land between 11.00am - 7.00pm (1-2 nights/week finishing later to accommodate work events, date nights).

An earlier start will be required if parents need assistance with school drop off or non-school days as both parents work. Summer live-in Monday through Friday in the Hamptons as needed (a few weeks, not the entire summer).

Children: Two young children - ages 3 + 6.

Conditions: $35 - $40 per hour* plus unlimited monthly Metrocard, sick/personal days, public holidays and three weeks paid leave per year. Family open to providing healthcare stipend for the perfect candidate.
