Job description Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fabricating and assembling metal structures and components according to specifications. This role requires a strong understanding of welding techniques, blueprint reading, and adherence to safety standards. The Welder will work primarily on construction sites and will utilize various tools and equipment to ensure high-quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

Interpret and read blueprints and technical drawings to determine project specifications. Perform Stick welding and Plasma cutting on various materials, ensuring strong and precise welds. Utilize power tools, calipers, and micrometers for accurate measurements and adjustments during fabrication. Assemble metal components according to established codes and standards while maintaining safety protocols. Operate forklifts safely to transport materials around the construction site as needed. Conduct routine maintenance on welding equipment to ensure optimal performance. Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines while maintaining quality standards. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety regulations. Bilingual a plus. Qualifications

Proven experience as a Welder, preferably in a construction or manufacturing setting. Proficiency in Stick welding, Plasma cutting, and other welding techniques. Strong ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately. Familiarity with industry codes and standards related to welding practices. Experience using power tools, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments effectively. Ability to operate forklifts safely; certification is preferred but not required. Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
