Overview
FACULTY ACTIONS COORDINATOR, Faculty Actions Job Description: Responsible for managing the review and approval flow of faculty actions paperwork (including, e.g., initial appointments, re-appointments, non-reappointments, and retirements) requiring Provost approval. Reports to and provides some support for the Executive Director of Faculty Actions. Provides specialized administrative support for the Faculty Affairs Office, including organizing new faculty orientation, maintaining faculty files, assisting and scheduling for the Associate Provost for Faculty Affairs, maintaining webpages and forms, educating school/college contacts on practices and procedures, and responding to ad hoc requests. Oversees the University Appointments, Promotion, and Tenure Committee (UAPT) review process, including scheduling meetings, assigning cases, liaising with school/college contacts, and assisting with the preparation of reports. Leads faculty file digitization effort, including the training and supervision of a student employee. Qualifications
B.A./B.S., excellent organizational and communications skills, proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat and WordPress, and one to three years of relevant experience.
