Technical Lead Embedded Software (Aerospace | Onsite in Santa Barbara, CA). This role combines hands-on embedded software engineering with technical team leadership to drive embedded development for aerospace-grade systems. What Youll Do Lead the design and development of real-time embedded software for flight-critical systems Manage and mentor a small team of engineers guiding architecture, code quality, and development processes Collaborate cross-functionally with hardware, systems, and test teams to integrate software into the full product stack Take full lifecycle ownership from prototyping to deployment and operational readiness
What Theyre Looking For
Strong experience in embedded systems (Rust OR C, C++), ideally but not required, in aerospace or high-reliability domains Deep understanding of real-time systems, concurrency, SoC Architectures & Bare-Metal environments Comfortable working onsite in Santa Barbara, CA. In-person collaboration is essential Must be ITAR compliant U.S. citizens, green card holders, or individuals with refugee/asylee status only
