Experience or 'Must have' skills: 1 year of experience with this patient population *Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Guaranteed Hours - 36 hours per week - # of Beds: 18 Nurse: Patient Ratios: 1:4, 1:3 for post surgical patients in the first 24 hours Common diagnoses/Types of patients: Patients who require intermediate care and downgraded CVICU patients. Unit heavily supports the thoracic program, EP, cath lab, and structural heart. Cath Lab, CVAs, CHF, A fib RVR and any other cardiac and vascular related Are RNs required to titrate drips?: Yes Common titratable &/or set rate drips: Amio, nitro, nicardipine, epi, cardizem, and multiple other medications for blood pressure management Charting System :EPIC About Uniti Med
