Travel Registered Nurse - ICU/CCU - All ages of patients, 11 beds, ICU and Tele patients Ability to care for ventilated patients, post cardiac cath, IABP, sepsis, COPD, post op surgical, trauma, limited neuro, DKA pts Meditech charting, bedside verification for med administration, Vent, Bipap, Swan, Phillips monitors, IV pumps, Transvenous pacers, etc. Skills may include anything from Surgical (Ortho, Neuro, CV, etc.) Family Practice, Cardiology, Geriatrics, etc. Minimum 1 year of ICU experience. Tele experience, ability to read EKG, care for patients as stated in 1 also occasional peds patients such as RSV, DKA WY or compact nursing license required. BLS, ACLS, PALS or ENPC (they will not be the primary for a peds patient, just need to have PALS or ENPC in case there is an emergency. Shifts are negotiable but will be 12 hours. Could be rotating, straight, etc. Call not required but may be asked on occasion if they would take call. 11 beds in department Support staff CPS, Lab, Rad, 24 hour coverage Hospitalists, eICU support 2 or 3 patients per nurse generally Dress Code: Navy scrubs.
