The Jefferson Hotel in Richmond, VA is seeking dependable, guest-focused Valet Attendants to join our Valet Services team. These roles provide professional parking and vehicle retrieval services for hotel guests, ensuring the utmost care, safety, and efficiency in every interaction.
We are currently hiring for: One Part-Time Valet Attendant
available to work
any day of the week , including
weekends and holidays , with
AM and PM shift availability . Key Requirements
Availability:
Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays. Hours range between
7:00 AM and 11:00 PM , with shifts extending as late as
1 am on weekends . Licensing:
Must hold a valid Virginia Driver's License and maintain an excellent driving record ( 0+ points only ). Driving Skills:
Must be able to drive both
manual and automatic transmission
vehicles safely and confidently. Appearance:
Must be
well-groomed, clean-cut, and neat in appearance . Dependability:
Punctuality and reliability are essential. Basic Functions & Scope
Welcome guests with professionalism and warmth upon arrival at the hotel. Safely park and retrieve guest vehicles in a timely and efficient manner. Handle guest keys and personal property with discretion and care. Maintain valet area cleanliness and uphold high standards of hospitality. Communicate clearly with team members and guests to ensure smooth and safe operations. Duties & Responsibilities
Provide valet parking for hotel guests. Open vehicle doors, assist with luggage as needed, and offer directions or information about the hotel. Record vehicle and guest information accurately. Perform visual inspections of guest vehicles and document any pre-existing damage. Respond to guest questions and requests with professionalism and attentiveness. Adhere to all safety and driving protocols. Report any incidents or accidents to leadership immediately. Support the valet team with traffic flow, parking area organization, and guest service as needed. Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous customer service experience strongly preferred, hospitality experience a plus. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to remain calm, courteous, and efficient in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods and work outdoors in all weather conditions. Must be able to safely operate a variety of vehicle types, including luxury models and manual transmissions.
