Work Schedule: Evening shift: 2:30pm-11:00pm, every other weekend and holiday; 72 hours over 2 weeks. A Brief Overview: As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will provide personal and direct care to residents in our skilled nursing facility, addressing physical, social, and spiritual needs to help maintain and enhance their independence. What You Will Do: Assist residents with daily living activities. Perform routine and non-routine tasks as directed by nursing staff, including bathing, dressing, and toileting assistance, among others. Conduct routine health checks (blood pressure, pulse, etc.) and accurately document observations. Help residents with specific medical care activities as per established policies and contribute to their care plans. Assist with maintaining a clean and safe environment while restocking supplies as needed. Offer emotional, educational, and spiritual support to residents and their families. Ensure adherence to resident rights and report any concerns regarding abuse or property misappropriation. Follow safety policies and procedures in all situations. Essential Qualifications: To succeed in this role, candidates must be able to work the specified hours and perform essential job duties which include effective communication and compliance with health and safety standards. Required Education and Certification: CNA certification within 120 days from the state's licensing board. Preferred Qualifications: High School diploma or GED.
