Work Schedule Day shift: 6:00am-2:30pm, every other weekend/holiday; 72 hours per 2 weeks. Why Avera? A Brief Overview As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will provide direct personal care and support to residents in our skilled nursing facility, helping to meet their daily physical, social, and emotional needs to promote their highest level of independence. Key Responsibilities: Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and toileting. Perform vital health checks and document relevant information accurately. Support medical care activities, document resident care, and communicate important changes to the nursing staff promptly. Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents through proper hygiene and organization of supplies. Provide emotional and educational support to residents and their families. Uphold resident rights, confidentiality, and ensure safety protocols are followed. Essential Qualifications: Must secure Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) certification within 120 days of hiring. Preferred Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent. Some experience or training in a related field is a plus.
